He has also played and recorded with other outstanding groups such as the Either/Orchestra, the Jazz Composers Alliance Orchestra, the Ayn Inserto Jazz Orchestra, Bob Brookmeyer, George Garzone, and John Tchicai. Rick enjoys teaching young musicians in Brookline Public Schools and at the New England Conservatory.

One of his songs, Red Bandanna, was the first and only song to be performed in English by Latin music superstar Danny Rivera at Madison Square Garden in NYC. He toured and wrote most of the catalog for Roots Rocker Barrence Whitfield and the Savages. Milt worked as sideman and session player for Bo Diddley, Robin Lane, the Blue Hawaiians, Brother Red (with Plas Johnson), and Susan Tedeschi. As the creator of Rear Window studio, he has produced records by Barrence Whitfield, Four Piece Suit, the Groove Juice Symphony, Sugar Twins and others. He also composed and performed on HBO’s “Sex and the City”.
Michael Ball was born in the Midwestern states where he began his career playing bass in clubs and on concert stages with Kansas City greats such as Jay McShann and others. Michael Has shared the stage with such midwest jazz greats as Clark Terry and was very active with touring bands throughout the Midwest. Michael earned a degree at New England Conservatory in Boston where he currently lives. Michael has played in the New England area clubs and concerts with jazz greats Jimmy Giuffre and George Russell to name a few and remains very active in the New England music venue. Michael has Studied bass with world renowned bassist Cecil McBee.
Graduated Magma Cum Laude from Berklee College of Music and is now an Assistant Professor in the piano department. He has toured throughout the U.S. and Canada with Greg Piccolo and Heavy Juice as a keyboardist and a musical director, appeared at major music festivals and clubs, including 2005 W.C. Handy Award. He worked for the musical, RENT and has also performed and/or recorded with Jaimoe from The Allman Brothers Band, Jay Geils, Sam Butera’s The Wildest, Marty Allen, Tommy Tune, Jean Carne, Jody Williams, Ronnie Earl, Duke Robillard and Michelle Willson. He opened for Robert Cray, Dr. John, Al Martino, Roberta Flack, John Scofield and The Sun Ra Arkestra. He has released 7 of his own albums at iTunes and Amazon and “Orifice” was selected for 2012 Musical Top Ten (ranked #6) by the Boston-based music magazine, “The Noise”.
